abstract = { Humans have been relying on multiple sensory channels to generate enriched meaning to reflect
experiences. Imagine a tangible object that can change its texture and size based on the amount of
walking done by users and engage their touch and vision sensory channels simultaneously for self
reflection. This idea has been realised with a prototype that uses pneumatics on inflatable membranes to
produce haptics and visual effects for users to experience their walking through step counts mapped on
inflatables. An evaluation of the prototype is made to derive interpretations that could be a conceptual
guideline for representing physical exercises using pneumatics.},
